Who Qualifies for Admission

Those who have achieved a stable level of medical recovery

Clients functioning at Level IV or higher on the Rancho Los Amigos Cognitive Scale

Medical Management
Board-certified physicians and nurses provide comprehensive medical evaluations, ongoing pharmacologic management, and individualized care plans. Led by a Medical Director certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, our team ensures every client’s treatment supports both healing and long-term neurological health.
Neuropsychology
Licensed Mental Health Counselors provide essential support; helping individuals develop healthy coping strategies, emotional regulation, and resilience as they work toward healing and improved quality of life. Our licensed neuropsychologists perform detailed evaluations to identify each client’s cognitive strengths, learning styles, and behavioral needs. These insights guide individualized treatment plans, ensuring that intellect and therapy progress hand in hand.
Therapy Services
Residents benefit from a full spectrum of rehabilitative therapies, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology. Our therapists use evidence-based techniques to help clients improve mobility, communication, and daily living skills in a supportive environment.
Behavioral Intervention

We provide comprehensive pre‑vocational, vocational, and life‑skills programs that build responsibility, effective communication, teamwork, and practical everyday abilities. Through structured, hands‑on experiences, clients gain confidence and independence as they prepare for a successful return to home, work, and community life. Lakeside’s Community Integration Program partners with a wide range of local businesses, offering employment experiences from sheltered‑workshop settings to competitive employment.
